4311 Centre Site Design

Tagish Engineering was a part of the design team on this project to construct a new commercial centre within the Capstone area in the City of Red Deer. Tagish's responsibilities included the site design, selecting a building elevation, and preparing a detailed utilities plan on how the building was to be serviced with water, wastewater and stormwater services. Additionally, a detailed grading plan was designed for the site, which included parking lot grades. A storm water management plan was also prepared for the site that compared pre-development and post development runoff volumes in order to limit the downstream impacts the site had once construction was complete. Tagish was able to prepare a site plan that a comfortable parking lot grades while still meeting the stormwater detention requirements set by the area.
